A: Well the term for that is called "cropped" to uncrop the videos set the recording dimenstions to 640 x 480.

A: Now I'm really not 100% sure but I have recived emails saying that it does not work BUT they have never personally tried it on a mac. It's what there friends told them.

A: That's just the way it is ok... it is possible for it not to lag but you need a very fast computer...

A: You dont need splitters but its highly recommended. You can get them from almost any electronic store. The ones I personally use are called RCA Y splitters. They are fairly cheap and inexpensive.

Q: Why is the qualitly not as good as your videos?
A: Well I set my videos to AVI format BUT this makes the file size extremly large. Roughly 1 minute takes 1 GB. But I have a 500GB harddrive and when I'm done recording I compress them in Windows Movie Maker then edit the video in whatever program i need.

Easycap is very cheap and produces an extremly high quality recording video that you can put on your computer for editing. Also this sure does beat holding up a camera to your TV
