About me- My name is Dayton. My middle name is Clint. My mom gave me that name because she liked Clint Eastwood. LOL! Pretty funny huh?! I'm easy going and always positive. "Only Goodtimes!" Music is therapy for me, it's the best stress relief!

I've been playing Slack Key (Kihoalu) for about 10 years now. I took lessons for 1 year from Bobby Moderow (who plays in an awesome band- "Maunalua"). I also learned a little from Ozzie Kotani and from watching Ledward Kaapana (I had the honor of jamming with him once, that was AWESOME!!!).

I learned standard tuning pretty much on my own. Ofcoarse I'm still learning, that's the awesome thing about guitar, there's ALWAYS something new to learn!

I really enjoy playing music, I just don't feel right if I don't pick up my guitar at least once a day. I also enjoy meeting people from all over the world- Thanks YouTube!

Living in Hawaii sucks. Nah, JUST KIDDING!!!
We do take it for granted sometimes though. I just went on a snowbarding trip to Whistler in December, it was AWESOME! That was my first time in NEGATIVE degree weather! Yes, I was FREEZING MY BUTT OFF!!! That's when I really appreciate living in Hawaii.
