Thanks for sharing the link to your blog on Huffington. I like you noticed the commentary by Tavis, Cornel, etc, and like Obama's reference to John McCain, unfortunately many of our past leaders and social activists don't get it. It's like the industry...the old cats are intimidated and afraid of the new instead of embracing because they are afraid of becoming irrelevant, and there is an underlined bitterness because he's reaching a demographic that they haven't. Like you pointed out. WE KNOW HISTORY, and we all can see Obama is black man. Is there really a need for him, or us to point that our any further? It's a lose, lose, situation. I'm personally glad that he didn't incorporate a large amount of King commentary in "his" acceptance speech". Thanks for sharing

A lot of people don't really get what OBAMA stands for, or what he means to the young BLACK PEOPLE.OBAMA is helping us live DR. KING'S dream by being brave and standing for change. He is putting his life on the line for change and to change all of our future ,Do people really not get what OBAMA is trying to for us as black people???
