Hey Wussup world?!? It's Elon!! I am a singer/songwriter from Deeeeeeeeeeetroit but now I live in Los Angeles. That's enough personal info now let's move on to why I'm here, lol. Of course, I want the world to see me do what I love which is singing. I know that I am not the most perfect singer in the world however that doesn't stop me from doing my thing! I know GOD will work with me to make me better! LOL That being said, I am VERY open to ALL of your comments, criticism, etc. Keep the rudeness to a minimum though. Some of your are just evil and I don't invite negativity to my area. I love ALL kinds of music and I try to learn and sing all types of music, however I do have a special place in my heart for R&B. Absolutely LooooooooVe R&B! Especially old school R&B. That soul music! I like todays R&B but I hate the fact that it lacks individuality and everything seems to be very closely related a far as sound. Everybody sounds the SAME!! All the girls sing the same, all the boys sing the same... with a few exceptions. Sometimes I don't know if I'm listening to Neyo or Mario, Cassie or Christina Milian... Not to take any credit away from these artists but you get the point. Back in the day man when you heard Marvin, you knew that was Marvin(no last name needed)when you heard Stevie, you knew that was Stevie(again no last name needed)You knew Anita Baker's voice, Chaka's, Aretha's, Tina Marie, Donnie Hathaway, Luther Vandross, Phyllis Hyman, Michael Jackson, Gladys Knight. It was distictive. It was original. It was fresh. It was DIFFERENT. No carbon copies. Everyone had there own thing going on which made music so much more enjoyable and relatable in my opinion. Hell, the artist out today even all damn near look alike!! Where is the variety? That's my question. Well hopefully you guys like my singing and even though I'm covering songs, hopefully you see the original style I bring to my interpretation of each song and appreciate that. I don't want to sound like anybody else, not trying to, just tryna do me. Hope you love it! Check back often!!
